New England winters began to lose their charm, so in 2007, Captain John decided to join Kahuna Katamarans on Marco Island to take a look around, get to know the people and see how Florida would be. After a year in sunny Florida, Captain John decided to bring his own business to Marco Island.  With over fifty years on the water sailing boats from Beetle Cats to Square Riggers, he will make your time aboard "Saboutime" a special event to be remembered for a lifetime.

The sailing vessel "Saboutime" is an Islander 37, built in Costa Mesa, California in 1968.  This classic beauty, designed by Bruce King, is built to sail in San Francisco Bay, so likes plenty of wind, but is also can "ghost along" with the best of them. Designed as a cruising boat, she's spacious, full of varnished teak and comfortable. She is exceptionally seaworthy, and safe. When you step aboard, you’re instantly surrounded with all the beauty and grace of the grand sailing yachts of the past.  Modeled after classic wooden boats, she shows the classic lines from yesteryear.  Step aboard and step back into a world of grace, charm and beauty.
